This post discusses how you can downgrade to an older version of AWPCP if you need to (for example, during BETA testing, or if an upgrade broke something that used to work on your site).
First, you need to get the older version you want to downgrade to. Visit the plugin site on Wordpress: http://wordpress.org/extend/pl...../download/ and pick the version you want. If you made customizations, you'll want to use your saved version instead.
Next, you'll need to unpack (unzip) the ZIP archive you downloaded.
Now, in your Wordpress Plugin Admin panel, DEactivate AWPCP.
Next, you need to use SCP or FTP to upload those unpacked files and folders up to your webhost. You want to put them in /your/site/wp-content/plugins/another-wordpress-classifieds-plugin, where /your/site depends on your webhost. Most of the time it's /username/sitename, but that can vary as well.
Finally, re-activate AWPCP from the Wordpress plugin admin panel. To confirm that your version has changed, click on "Classifieds" on the lower left of your Wordpress admin panel to see your current version.
We have a new one for 4.0 and later. Please see THIS article:
