The People Behind the Plugin

AWPCP is a WordPress plugin painstakingly crafted to meet the high demands of non-technical business users that need to create directories quickly and easily. That’s no small task and we’re constantly working to make the plugin better.

However, the code is but one tiny piece of the puzzle–we know that to make you successful requires excellent support, thorough documentation and incredible responsiveness to your requests. Our goal is to blow you away with the experience of working with us and our software. Here’s the group that makes it all happen:

Our Team

Dave, owner of AWPCPDave

Chief Plugin Officer (Owner)

Dave has been building businesses for over 20 years and bootstrapping WordPress plugins since 2009. AWPCP was his first plugin. Dave’s background includes freelance consulting, project management, lead developer, and customer support. He brings all of these to bear when working to make people successful with AWPCP. He also owns the sister directory plugin Business Directory Plugin.

When not chasing his 3 kids around telling them to clean their room and do their homework, he likes hiking with his family in the Colorado mountains and exploring new restaurants with his lovely wife. He has an unnatural fixation with the perfect margarita.

Chief Plugin Engineer (Lead Developer)

When he’s not trying to find the perfect diving spot, Willington is working his magic to make sure the next release of AWPCP rocks. Even though he’s always learning new APIs and libraries, he still manages to find the time to write unit tests for everything. He’s obsessed with software design patterns and improving AWPCP’s memory usage.

He likes his steak medium rare.

Chief Communications Officer (Customer Support)

Kelvin makes your AWPCP support experience a WOW experience. Being a veteran on the customer support field, you’ll find him very easy going. He’s pretty straight forward and won’t waste your valuable time. Whenever you visit the forums, think of him as your personal AWPCP Superman.

When he’s not clicking his computer’s mouse, you’ll find him busy shopping with his wife. His wife does the shopping and he does the paying.
