The AWP Classifieds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the ‘regions’ parameter array keys in versions up to, and including, 4.4.5 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.geddi2

If you are looking for a simple/basic Classified plugin, this is not the one. (Although, it will do that job quite nicely) If you are looking for a full featured plugin, to build a REAL classified website, this IS the one for you. There are literally hundreds of options to configure your classifieds site to exactly how you want it. Nothing is lacking. All of it works flawlessly. Even played well with my SiteOrigin theme so I could configure each page exactly how I wanted it to be. The support is solid and timely. No disappointments here either. I’m running it on the latest version of WP. So even though is says “untested with my WP version” there are no issues at all. I really feel they should fix this though. This is far better than any other classified plugin out there, and I went through them all! It IS configured to work with Zapier and Facebook directly, but blog2social was a huge improvement. We just had a guy from Codeable build a custom plugin to give b2s a few custom tweaks. 😉 If you are looking for a full featured, highly customizable plug in, this is the one for you!

Still playing around with the setup and wonder, how powerful this plugin is. Hats off! Not sure, if I’ve overlooked something or haven’t digged deep enough yet, but is there an option, to limit the number of classifieds, a fresh user can post? Thanks in advance.
