I have an issue with my classifieds where the thumbnail never shows up when uploading. I have disabled other plugins and had no success. One plugin DID cause me issues with allowing me to click the Select Files button (Async JavaScript) but I have disabled that and now it allows me to select files. Theme is OceanWP. I have ensured files being uploaded meet size and dimension requirements set forth in the settings. I do notice some strange characters above and below the images area (highlighted in attachment). Any thoughts?

Hi David,

Sorry that you ran into issues with this!

When you turned off the other plugins, did you also change to a default WordPress theme? What we’re seeing here may be a conflict with your theme, as I am unable to reproduce it on my test site. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with AWPCP, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how…..conflicts/

Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.

So I must have overlooked disabling a plugin or something. After switching themes I retraced my steps. The offending plugin is “WP-Cron Control” – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cron-control/ – Which was recommended by my webhost.

Also, one or both of the following plugins, when activated cause the funky characters in my original screenshot:

A2 Fixed W3 Total Cache
A2 Optimized WP
