Thanks for your post. It sounds like the translation file might be in the wrong folder, as that shouldn't happen.
With version 4.0, many new strings were added to the plugin. This article will give you the specifics on how to translate the directory, including the correct location in which to store the file so that it doesn't get overridden when you upgrade: https://awpcp.com/knowledge-base/translate-awpcp-native-language-modify-labels-awpcp/
Please keep in mind that with each release, we add, edit or remove strings in the plugin, and as a result, those things are changed in the translation file. If you are using a translation file, you should update your translation files with EACH upgrade of the plugin.

Once you have the updated translation file you should be able to find that string.
