Hello all,

I am new to AWPCP – I purchased the add-ons package and started playing around.   I need help with a few things and wondered if you guys could help me out.

I am bridging a XENFORO install to WP which makes things a bit more difficult as my theme choices are limited but I have one I like from Themehouse UI.X and the XENFORO Xpress plugin to bridge to WP and I have most things working fine.

When it comes to AWPCP once I have created listings and go to view them by browse listings the images are all blown up already to full width of form rather than just a thumbnail to the side.   Can you give me some pointers on what I can change to stop this.  i know it has to do with the theme I am using because I can switch themes and the problem goes away.

How do I edit the layout of the the browse listings?

When creating additional fields how do I control their layout on screen.  It seems they are all at bottom of add listing page not where I would like them in the form?

Hi SteveA,

Thanks for your post.

For the image issue, the image settings in the plugin can be found under Classifieds > Settings, Images/Attachments tab.

There are two approaches to define image sizes for thumbnails:

1. Define both width and height: In this case the width and height will be used as the maximum dimensions for thumbnails images. The image will be resized or cropped so that the largest side of the image matches the value of the setting. The other side will match the corresponding setting if the option to crop the thumbnail is also enabled, or will be proportionally resized to keep the image’s aspect ratio otherwise.

2. Define only the width and leave height blank: In this case the images will always be resized to have the defined width maintaining the aspect ratio of the original image.

To answer your next question, the Browse Listings page can be edited with HTML under Classifieds > Settings, Ad/Listings tab using the Ad Listings page layout. Individual ad layouts can be edited with the Single Ad page layout.

Finally, for the fields you have created with the Extra Fields module, you can change the order of those by going to Classifieds > Form Fields. Once there, you can drag and drop the fields in the order in which you’d like them to appear.

I hope that helps get you started here. Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!
