Hi, I'm enjoying setting up this plugin, which seems to be working well for us.
As you've mentioned, images are a problem for a lot of folks. There are a bunch of WP plugins to auto resize images as they are uploaded, but they seem to be hooked into the post creation process, the built-in WP image uploaded. I take it that AWPCP does not use that uploaded?
Any ideas on how to handle this?
The best I have for right now is linking to external sites that will reduce the file size and image dimensions and explain why you have to do that.

Yes, AWPCP doesn't use any special plugins to do image resizing.
Image management hasn't been something I've given a great deal of thought to outside of the most basic support, but I would be open to suggestions on what kinds of problems you're encountering and what things you need addressed by the plugin.

Thanks again for the plugin, and the response!
Basically, I am looking at other plugins that intercept the WP upload and evaluate the uploaded image, then use either the GD or ImageMagick to scale it down to the admin's max dimensions.
There are a couple of them that look pretty good, and you might be able to leverage their code, was the suggestion. Resize-on-upload looked the most interesting, although I have not really tested it yet.
"Provides the ability to set a maximum width or height an uploaded image can be, if the image is larger than the specified values then it resized. Ideal for users who wish to upload multiple files without having to resize them via Photoshop or GIMP first. "
