I work for a California state government department and we build our intranet using WordPress. We are considering this plugin to replace a SharePoint-based "employee bulletin board." We would like to show the latest listings in simplified form on the homepage.

Is there a shortcode to display a simple list of the latest ads with linked titles, or something similar?

Hi Jason Smith,

Thanks for your post.

AWPCP has several shortcodes that might work for you here, including the AWPCPLATESTLISTINGS shortcode. You can find all of our supported shortcodes here: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/val.....codes-3-x/

Thank you for the quick response. I found those shortcodes. I'm looking for a way to display just the title and perhaps the category.

Something simple like this:

  • Item for sale
  • Item for sale
  • Item for trade
  • Item in Lost & Found
  • Would like to buy this item

With a little CSS, I managed to get what we want. I can simplify it more by just displaying the title.

Hi Jason Smith,

Yes, that's what I would recommend as well. Not sure if you found it or not, but here is an article about how to use custom CSS with AWPCP in a way that doesn't get overwritten on upgrade of AWPCP: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how.....ith-awpcp/
