I just installed your plug-in and I am giving it a try. For some reason it doesnt look like your demo and I have these buttons which I liked to get rid off. Can you look at it and tell me how to take these buttons off?

Hi Jack,

Thank you for contacting us regarding this. I’m happy to help here.

The reason the classifieds look different on each site is because the plugin picks up some formatting from your theme.

You can easily remove those buttons by going to Classifieds > Settings, Ad/Listings tab. Scroll to the bottom where you will see a section called Classifieds Bar where you can turn off the buttons you don’t want.

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!

I don’t want these buttons to be “OFF” I just don’t want them to show like that. I want these buttons to show differently. I want them to show like your “classified demo section”

Hi Jack,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. All fonts, colors and spacing can be changed using custom CSS. Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with AWPCP in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of AWPCP: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how…..ith-awpcp/

I hope that helps. If there’s something else I can help you with, please let me know.

Can you tell me why the listing results in my site look like this and not like your demo?

Hi Jack,

Thanks for the follow-up question. The demo site uses many of our premium modules to show what is possible with our plugin. For example, the Category Icons Module gives each category an icon, like on our demo. You can see the premium modules here: https://awpcp.com/premium-modules/

If you are trying to achieve something specific, please let me know what it is and I can help you further with this.

I am trying to get results to look as a summary like in your demo. At my site, you click and all the ads how open and not summerize one under the other. Look at the search results on my site:

Hi Jack,

You can change the layout of the main page under Classifieds > Settings, General tab. Unchecking the box next to this setting will show only categories and not listings on your main page: Show Ad listings on main page. You can also control how many columns are displayed there as well.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!

I guess I didn’t explain my self correctly. If you go to my site: ContractorsDirectorySocal.com/classified

and you press the ” for Sale ” category :   For Sale

The results coming up as listing and not  organize like at your demo, one after the other:  Your “For Sale”

Hi Jack,

Sorry for any confusion here. It looks like I left out some information in my earlier response. To show only summaries of ads, go to Classifieds > Settings, General tab and change this setting:

For your other question, I’m not sure what you mean by a Location bar. Can you please give me more details on that?

It does not do it !!! I like the search results to show a summary of all ads and not the entire ads as it is right now. Look at the results, they show in its entirety: http://contractorsdirectorysoc…..appliances

Regards the location: I would like the user to find listing per location. like you have it in your demo in the location bar where it says:”Displaying listings from all locations”

I am trying to finalize all of this (and a lot of people waiting on this also)….Can you please help?

I’m sorry that isn’t working.

Can you tell me a bit more?
– What version of WP are you running here?
– What exact version of AWPCP?  (number, please)
– What exact version of any other AWPCP Modules? (number, please)

We should also do a check for theme and plugin conflicts. Please conduct the test and let me know the results. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with AWPCP, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how…..conflicts/

You can respond here, or you can contact us with a link to this forum thread and that information here: https://awpcp.com/contact/

This solution that you gave earlier pertain only to the main page and not the listing search results.

Here are the answers:

1. WP version: WordPress 4.9.2

2. AWPCP version: 3.8.2

3. No additional modules

No conflicting plugin. I tested it
