Hi Roberto,
Thanks for your post.
Any string or label in the application can be modified with a translation file to be whatever you want it to be.
Although a translation file is traditionally used to change the language of a plugin, it also will change ANY string or label in the plugin (For example, you can change the word "Search" to "Find") We have full instructions on how to do that here: https://awpcp.com/quick-start-guide/#qs-translate;awpcptrans
If you want some of the original form fields to not show on the ads, you can control that under Classifieds > Settings > Form and unchecking the fields that you don't want.
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.

Hi Roberto,
Thanks for trying that.
Can you check that your translation files have been updated? Please keep in mind that with each release, we add, edit or remove strings in the plugin, and as a result, those things are changed in the translation file. If you are using a translation file, you should update your translation files with EACH upgrade of the plugin.
Follow the instructions in this article for the steps to take to upgrade your translation file: http://businessdirectoryplugin.....tion-file/
If that doesn't help, please let me know the exact strings you tried to translate. You may want to use screenshots as well as text to give me an idea of what you tried here. Please let me know.

the plugin seems to ignore the file: plugins/another-wordpress-classifieds-plugin/languages/another-wordpress-classifieds-plugin-it_IT.po correctly inserted by modifying the strings. Even the strings left by default are not translated.
it would be advisable to give users the possibility to change the default data because the application possibilities of the plugin are very wide and this element greatly reduces their use

Hi Roberto,
Thanks for following up here. Can you please verify that you have uploaded this new language-coded file to the wp-content/languages/plugins/ on your website’s server (if it does not exist, please CREATE this directory first)?
The next thing to check is that under Classifieds->Settings->General Tab, you have checked the box that says “Turn On Translation File (POT).
This will translate about 95% of the plugin. Further translation must happen in the following places, which are stored in the database:
- Your AWPCP Page names must be translated to your native language
- Strings that are inside the configuration, such as the Welcome Message must be translated
- Email templates must be translated
- Strings used in the HTML templates for the ads and listings under Ad/Listing Settingsmust be translated
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
