Hello

once we add an ad to system, there is no message or anything saying that customer will receive a mail to do final validation. this is a bit confusing because some users are thinking that there is no more steps to do.

Moreover, iIt seems that this mail is falling in spam message (meanwhile all others messages from same web are not falling in spam). so :

1. is there any way to improve the mail format maybe ? (spf, dkim, dmarc are ok)

2. main question : how can we add a message after ad creation dvising customer to check its mail box (and spam folder) in order to validate its ads ?

thx for your lights.

Hi fab,

Thanks for your post here.

This definitely seems like an omission on our part for the notification after the ad has been placed. I'm assuming that you have registration turned off and email verification turned on -- is that correct? I'm asking for a developer to add this for us and will post here once I know the status of that. We'll probably include some default language there that you will be able to use a translation file to customize.

As for the emails, we don't have any other options for that right now, but you may find a plugin that would help here. I use this plugin to give the default emails a little more style and they don't seem to go to spam (can't say for sure if that's a function of the plugin or not): https://wordpress.org/plugins/.....templates/ and there is a nice article here about how to use it: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plu.....wordpress/ The plugin hasn't been fully tested with AWPCP, but I do have it on my test site and the colors/logo seem to work okay and as I said, deliverability hasn't been an issue.

I'll update the issue once I hear back -- in the meantime, a workaround would be to advise the customer of the steps that will take place before they place the ad. I know that's not ideal, but until we have this added, that's the best suggestion I can make here. I hope that helps.
