My site relies on the admin notification emails for record keeping. Recently, one email wasn't sent (verified from email logs). Is there anyway to resend that notification from the AWPCP admin?

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your post. Sorry that you ran into issues with this!

Currently, you can send an access key to edit the listing, but we don't have a way to resend other notifications in the plugin.

For email issues with the plugin, it's usually best to verify some things about your server, because in our experience, email problems stem from the server configuration more than anything.

Here's an article about email delivery that you should try, including a plugin to install to track the outgoing email to confirm that it's being sent: http://docs.businessdirectoryp.....blems.html

Once you confirm that, it means that the email is either failing to be delivered by the server or something outside of the plugin. We use the standard mechanism for email sending through WP, but once it's sent, it's outside of our control.

Try that and report back on what you find.

Thanks for the quick reply. Now that I know the plugin doesn't natively support resending, I can work on adding that functionality.

As for debugging the issue -- it only happened one time. All other emails before and after this one were sent. I don't think there's any issue with the AWPCP plugin, but something stopped this one email from being sent. In the rare case that this happens, it would be nice to have a simple means to resend the admin notifications. In my case, the person maintaining our ad sales records does not have access to the website. It's all done via email.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for understanding. That's something we can consider for future development, but not something the plugin allows for today.  Once we complete our next major release (4.0) we will evaluate what makes sense in the next release cycle.
