Hello,

I am working on a school project and wanted to know if this plugin supports the following:

I want the asking price requested in a classified listing created by a user to be dropped, for example, by 10% each day, for ten days to eventually 0$.

In the admin console is there an option to specify that all classified ad asking prices will be dropped by a percentage, each period of time (to be specified), starting as soon as the ad is posted, for a specified number of days to eventually reach an asking price of 0$?

If not, can you recommend a developer that may be able to help with this?

Thanks,
morg

Hi Morg,

This is not possible with AWPCP at this time. You would need to make some modifications to the plugin code to do something like this. Here is an article that could guide you with this http://awpcp.com/documentation.....ion-guide/

If you don't feel comfortable with that, there are a few great resources to help you out here.

1. WPCurve, run by Dan Norris (the AWPCP owner's friend), does unlimited 30 min WP-based customization work of any kind for $99/month (3 month minimum). It's a great deal and he runs a great service. However, not all customizations fit within his service.

2. Codeable, which has WordPress expert developers available for short-term projects: https://codeable.io/

3. The last option would be hiring a developer on Upwork (formerly known as oDesk) to help out if you think this is beyond your current skill set http://upwork.com There's a lot of decent folks on there as well.
