First af all, let me say a thank you for this excellent free plugin!
AWPCP basic is realizing the name of a given location when a user is placing an ad. The given location will appear on the search panel (widget) listing. That means, if the next customer is giving the same location, that will not appear twice in the listing. This is OK.
Say we have two locations on the search panel, Boston and NY.
If a customer gives both Boston and NY locations (separated with any separator,_-: ect) to an ad, the system is considering as a
new location. On the search panel listing this will appear as a third location "Boston,NY" and is not connected to the already existing "Boston" and "NY".
If the system realized (when placing an ad) that the input locations, separated with a separator, are individual data and thus connecting it to the existing database, would highly improve the functionality of AWPCP. (Now if I sell phones in both Boston and NY I can advertise this through two ads. One with location B. and one with location NY. What if I have shops in 50 cities? 🙂
I guess this requires minor changes only as the system already can handle the issue with one location, so this is an underutilized "existing" feature.
Concerning the commercial point, this would not have any influence on the need of Location Premium Module, as that is about quite another issue!
